My sister in Bushnell Florida and her husband bred the Encore Rose
bushes. They bloom in late summer and keep flowers till the first frost.
Beautiful rose bushes ....

From helpmefind.com

Encore (Hybrid Tea, Warriner, 1984)
Class: Florists Rose, Hybrid Tea / Large-Flowered.
aka: JACore
Registration: Encore (Hybrid Tea, Warriner, 1984), JACore
Origin: Bred in United States (1984) by William A. Warriner.
Introduced in United States (1984) by Jackson & Perkins Co..
Bloom: Dark red [dr] blooms. No fragrance. 20 petals. Large, double
(17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Growing: Zone 6 and higher. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead
or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back
the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably
find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
Parentage: Seedling × Samantha ®

No Pictures..... too bad

Might be a little tender for Michigan. 6 degrees out right now.

Jeff, Southeast Michigan, Zone 5
