Fertilizer in South Australia 1860's
I recently found a reference in a history tome, suggesting that
farmers in South Australia sowed their grain crops with 'salt sprinkled thin'. Could anyone tell me what it was (some type of fertilizer), or were they ignorantly poisoning their land? Thanks' Jim G |
