flowring ground cover?
I'm looking for a low growing evergreen ground cover much like Asiatic
jasmine, but would prefer something with flowers (color besides white). Any ideas? |

I think it was one of your posts on groundcover that led me to discover what this 'weed' was in my backyard. I read up on it and decided to go with it for the 'natural' area of my yard. It's lush, has a little bit of color and looks nice whether mowed or ignored. Its leafy, mounding shape works well to keep the soil cool and humid. I wouldn't use it for a front lawn, but it's a good alternative in a place you might use buffalo grass. Buffalo grass also looks pretty mediocre in the winter. |
