I am looking for opinions on drip irrigation, what is good, what is not.
what you use. plans to design such an item would be appreciated as well.

It depends on what you are watering and how big an area you have to cover.
Drip is the most efficient way to water and the plants love it because they
get deep watered.

I get Drip Works catalog (http://www.dripworksusa.com/) which has several
'tutorials' included so I assume their website will go into more detail. Far
as I can tell, these guys have everything!

Yes, me too..I have been taking their catalog for several years..They have
the best selection and good prices and good customer service...See the
address below and they will send you their catalog or you can see it on
line..
