Default Indoor Ficus

Hi,

We have an indoor Fig plant (Ficus I think) which started off as a 2"
cutting, a splindly low life nothing about 18 months ago, but now
turning into a tree. The 'trunk' is about pencil thickness and now
about 18" high. Shall we leave to grow higher, or can we 'top it out'
to keep it as it is?
