garden skool update
I notice its gone a bit quiet on comments in here, and maybe a number of people - judging by the range of early churlish comments - bailed out before the end of the first episode! But, particularly after last night's show, I would suggest that Garden School has become virtually essential gardening television. Not only were many of last night's 'lessons' interesting, the visits to various Italian gardens and Hidcote was an absolute joy on the eyes. I'm suddenly quite envious of the students, and after a bumpy beginning I would be astonished to hear nothing but positive experiences from them by the time this all draws to a close. Snow report: A couple of inches here, in north Bristol, overnight Thursday - in fact quite late/early Friday morning. But fairly mild temperatures saw it all disappear reasonably quickly too. The garden looked stunning though, as following the snow fall it quickly cleared to a cloudless blue morning sky - beautiful. -- Flower Bobdew South Facing Garden South West: UK |
