what depth added soil to lawn?
Hi, if you have a depressed area in an otherwise flat lawn, to what depth
can it be filled up with soil so that the grass will still grow up through the added soil without being killed off? |

Don't do it that way! Slit the turf crossways over the depression, lift and peel back a 2inch layer, put sieved soil below and lay back. pk |

Or just sieve a thin layer over the existing grass and wait for it to recover, repeat until you have the level you want. It is not easy to kill grass by burying it! Alan pk |
