Default Further to the Acer's poor foliage

As discussed previously ref my Acers lack of foliage this year, I paid a
visit to the specialist it was purchased from.

ALL their trees looked fantastic but I might add they were all under cover
and protected from wind, rain and frost.

Their only suggestion on my problem was the dry winter, late frosts or even
easterly winds which we have apparently had this year.

The tree is looking sad but we gave it some topping feed yesterday and will
see what happens next year. I think there will be plenty pruning later this
year.

Yes my Acer is not doing to well either, the leaves seem small and

shrivelled, also we must remember that a lot of experts and garden centres
buy their Acers from nurseries that have forced these trees on all winter.
