Default Cabbages and Kings

A few leaves at the bottom of the cabbages always seem to be yellowed
and have what look like blotches of disease on them.

Does it matter?
Should they be removed?
Can they be composted?

No, no and yes.


I would say No, yes and yes. difficult to compost without removing.
