My 4 year old wisteria on the garage wall had, for the first time, a flower
bud. I went to look at it several times each day. Then we had a gale, the
garage door slammed open and knocked the bud off.

Sic transit gloria mundi. I am so disappointed! But I read another poster's
comment that she sprayed developing buds with warm water. Does anyone else have
experience of this wheeze?
