Default mouldy laurel

Can anyone there please, help us with a persistant problem in our
garden with mouldy new growth laurel?

Any help on this would be appreciated

Possibly mildew, which is exacerbated by dryness. Try watering the plant
in dry weather and mulching with high humus material like garden
compost.
