Default New turf

Hi there,

I've just had a new lawn laid with cultivated turf. They seem to have made
a very good job and I want to keep it good - any useful tips please?

Thanks for any replies, Aileen

Water water water

And try to let the grass grow befor you cut it, and when you do cut the lawn
for the first and second time, try puting your lawnmower at about 3 inch
cut...

When you water! it's in the morning or after supper when the sun is going
down. But never in the afternoon.

I should have said that I am a newbie to this group. I enjoy gardening in
Notts (much colder and mainly cloudy today) but rather bumble my way
through.

I have been gardening for years but I still bumble my way through :-)
welcome
