Default Plant ID Help

I admired a plant at my next door neighbours on Saturday. I asked her what
it was - but she didn't know. However she did have another one she didn't
need so I've inherited it. I'm now frightened to admire anything else in
her garden . She did get a Sedum Brilliant in return.

It's a bush in which the old growth goes woody. Sparsely leaved, except at
the top. It has rounded oval mid green leaves with silver edges and backs.
She doesn't think it flowers or produces berries. The one she has, and the
one I've now got are about 3 feet in height. I've had a quick Google, and
looked up the RHS plant encyclopedia, but didn't spot it.

How does she think it reproduces then?

Take a picture and someone may be able to help.....
