Default New blogspots Soekershof Walkabout and other updates

Robertson, South Africa; May 17 2007 - Soekershof Walkabout, Mazes &
Botanical Gardens, has launched two new blogsites in addition to the
own website.
The first is http://soekershof.blogspot.com and keeps (potential)
visitors updated with the latest developments in and around Soekershof
and with links to other interesting things-to-do/see in the area.
The second, http://soekershof.wordpress.com is primary a service tool
for customers of the own Soekershof nursery and other succulent
lovers. This blogsite provides visitors with information about all
(basic) aspects of cultivating succulents including cacti in South
Africa.

Both blogs offer visitors to comment (even anonymous).
In the first week after the launch both blogs each are attracting more
than 40 hits daily which is quite remarkable for Soekershof Walkabout
is operating in a 'niche-niche market'.

The idea for both blogsites came after the enormous response on the
description of Soekershof in a blogsite of an entrepreneur from New
York. See for yourself:

walkabout.html

Important: Per August 1 of this year the admission rates of Soekershof
will increase to R 60.00 pp 12 yrs. The admission fee for persons 12
yrs will remain R 20.00.
For groups of 9 persons: R 500.00 plus R 40.00 pp for every addition
person.
Another change, in order to ease our organisation and to ensure guests
of the typical personal touch, is that, per August 1, visitors cannot
enter at any given time between 8 AM and 4 PM for a walkabout. These
opening times will than only apply for customers of our nursery.
Walkabouts will start at 11 AM and 3 PM but from December 1 to March 1
the morning session will start at 10 AM.
Only for pre-paid bookings and 'priviliged accommodation' with special
Soekershof arrangements exceptions can be made.

Almost at last but not at least: From August 1 visitors with pre-paid
bookings can order a Dutch picnic (breadrolls ham, cheese, coffee/tea,
apple and a bottle of water). Cost: R 40.00 pp.

Tickets and pre-paid bookings also via the Tourism Bureau in Montagu.

Enjoy your holiday,

Herman, Yvonne & dedicated Staff.
