Default Lawn repair

Hi,
I remember that there is a supply of a mixture of sand and grass seed
on the golf tee for repairing divot. Would appreciate if anyone knows what
type of sand is it.
My lawn has been damaged by squirrels digging for peanuts hidden among
the lawn. It would be nice to know a way to discourage squirrels from
digging all over the lawn in the long-run, without harming them of course.
Look forward to your kind advises and suggestions.

Regards, Philip
