Default What (climbing) plants for North wall?

I had 2 hydrangeas in biggish pots against a north wall untill they died
due to causes unknown. Maybe over/underwatering???

Anyway, I am going to empty the pots and would like to put something
else in their place if possible.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks
