Thanks to Mary and Mark for the link. Mary, as you have an Eglu,
would you consider that there are any advantages having the Eglu Cube?

Yes - if you want to keep more than three chickens. We only have bantams and
have had up to five in our standard Eglu and it's perfectly adequate for
that. But not more, or more than three full size chickens.

It looks to be thoughtfully designed - as I'd expect from that source.

Don't be sorry that is your opinion. It's horses for courses isn't
it? Mary finds it more convenient with an Eglu because of her
lifestyle and I agree with her. Neither of us are right or wrong are
we?

No, not yet, we are in France at present and move on 28th September
and complete the sale of our house on the 29th September. It's a
scarey thought, so much change in one day, I leave my profession, my
home, my country.

Oh egg raising, ? oh I see Yes, lots.

Well I said :
And a triumph of advertising over traditional skills,

but lets skip that

it is money & convenience gone mad

money = frightfully expensive both on the pocket and environmentally.
and per egg the mind boggles

convenience = hmm, I might have been out of order there, cos not
everyone has acces to "freecycle" "trade-it" and local carpenters and
odd jobie recycling personages

But each to his(her) own as Judith helpfully sort of said !

I hope I didnt give the impression that you. Mary, shouldnt be allowed
to use them, in my totalitarian state ! ahem

I don't think so Martin, our home has been sold so it's on to try
something different.
