Default Phalaenopsis

We received this plant as a present last Christmas. It had two spikes
which had about a dozen flowers in total and we were delighted at their
beauty. We kept it on the kitchen southeast-facing windowsill
The flowers died off about April and we cut the spikes right down to the
first eye as we were advised by someone on this NG.
In early June a single new spike started to grow, not from the old
stems, but from the centre of the plant, and this spike grew quite
rapidly and is now in full bloom with 82 blossoms.!!
It's magnificent and we're as proud as punch.
Sorry, but I just had to crow a little.

P.pleater.
