Default acanthus mollis

Hi everyone I am about to dig up my acanthus mollis because of warnngs
about its presistence and spread - I thought I would put it into a pot.
Will this confine its roots and what is the best way to make certain I have
removed it completely from my flower bed? Any help much appreciated. Jean

I doubt it, and ask that nice Mr Blair for some of the surplus weapons

The only practical way of checking is to see if it comes up next year,
and the year after, and the .... You can eliminate it, by digging it
up each time.
