Did u use a rotary or cylinder mower to cut with if u used a cylinder it
would have damaged the new grass.
Have u had a recent dry spell if so water water water.
Yellowing usualy indicates a lack of nitrogen apply a high nitrogen feed.
If the grass is dead in places and you have a lot of bird activity it could
be leatherjackets the grubs of crane flies that eat the roots.
If so hand spike the dead areas and sow a little seed and dress with some
soil.
