Default Prunning a Conifer Hedge

Hi people,

I have a large conifer hedge which is in desperate need of trimming and
generally tidying up.

Is it too late in the year to do this?

We are already having frosts and it it is very cold at night. Will trimming
now just damage or harm the hedge?

Thanks

Steve
