Rubbish! It's _still_ in Berkshire!
Why do you persist in giving misleading information, Helene?

LOL I realised after I posted this that you meant that
Sutton's Seeds are in Devon... I was talking about Reading... LOL

They do sometimes move county borders around, fools that they are!
Peterborough moved from Northamptonshire to Cambridgeshire at one time...

I think they have/had a trial ground at Fermoy's garden centre, on the road
between Totnes and Newton Abbot, too.

Reading is still in Berkshire but, judging from their website
(http://www.suttons.co.uk/ContactUs.htm), Suttons Seeds are now in
Devon, in Paignton. I assume that's what Helene was referring to.

Yes, I realised that after I'd posted. It's been 'head up bum' time
today, as my grandson was undergoing open-heart surgery, and I was
awaiting news of how he was after the op. I obviously wasn't thinking
straight.

However, I now know that he came through op okay, and is in ICU.
With luck he'll be transferred to the high dependency unit tomorrow...

Good news, Anne and it will get better and better.

I'm glad he's come through the op OK and I hope he makes a good recovery.

Suttons's website and has said this since 1976, just like I said it on
my first post in this thread which was the 5th posts, would you

Sutton's haven't had a website to say this on since 1976.

I think she meant Sutton's have said this, not the website has.

I may be wrong, I usually am.

She meant that it is written on Sutton's website.

You think? I can't tell what she means, cos she's French.

It's Suttons, therefore it should be 'Suttons have said this ....'.
Isn't it? And don't try to insert a broom handle Uncle, won't suit
you.

Been carving LOTS of pumpkins. I've tried to get hold of that poor
farmer chap, featured on our regional news, whose pumpkins, for lack
of sun, didn't turn much orange and being mostly green they didn't
sold at all. I thought I would have bought some from him. I felt so
sorry for him. I've also found that all the orange 'carving' pumpkins
sold in supermarkets which aren't sold after the 31st are thrown
out!!? The world's gone mad ...

Here's one I made earlier. Hope you have a good one!
