It seems that I am not going to succeed in having a post published under the
subject heading "Blueberries" Sooo, Poor crop this year on three bushes. All the planting/pruning advice followed. Only item missing is feeding. How should I encourage a better crop next year? Alistair |

You can post under any subject heading you like, this is an unmoderated newsgroup. If your post didn't show then either your ISP refused to post it or something else went wrong. We didn't get too bad a crop on our two bushes but none made it home from the allotment. :-) Presumably you have them in acid soil (our allotment is) and if you want to feed them then use an Ericaceous Feed, they are sold mainly for Rhodies and Camellias. -- Regards Bob Hobden |

All three turned up, but whether his news-server collected them is another matter. -- Rusty Direct reply to: horrid dot squeak snailything zetnet point co period uk Separator in search of a sig |

Now there's a surprise. I was sure there was an over zealous moderator
somewhere (there was a previous "Blueberry" post in the same window) The mystery remains - apparently my previous messages were published, but invisible to me. Thanks. I've now got hold of the remedies ericaceous soil (in which they are planted) and ericaceous feed. The only gap in my knowledge now is to prune or not to prune, and if so, how? Alistair |

If you didn't see any of the replies in the 'Blueberries' thread, then you've probably managed to killfile 'Blueberries' somehow. -- Rusty Direct reply to: horrid dot squeak snailything zetnet point co period uk Separator in search of a sig |
