trimming the hedge
Guaranteed to make it rain: trim the large overgrown privet hedge.
Get electric hedgetrimmer out. Start to trim (read 'massacre') the hedge back. Manage not to electrocute self. Manage not to poke eye out of self. Manage not to hack off limb of self. Manage not to open vein/artery of self. Get halfway trhough job and *BOOM* *BOOM* Thunder.. winds get up. Decide that thunderstorm and electric hedge trimmer are not a good combination. Put electric hedgetrimmer away. Tidy up trimmings from work done so far *BOOM* *BOOM* all going on in the background and rain starts.. So my hedge is not looking good.. |
