Default How do I Raise the Level of a Patch of Turf?

I laid some new turf a couple of months ago on a semi-circle of my
lawn (about 2 yards in diameter).

Only problem is that I didn’t get my levels right, so the new turf is
about an inch lower than the rest of the lawn. I was thinking about
spreading a mix of sand & soil to try and build it up. Is that a
sensible idea or is there a better way?

Thanks,

Michael

Well the alternative is to lower the rest of the lawn!

You may be able to lift the turf using a sharp spade and cutting
carefully under the turf, raise the level and relay the turf.
