Plums
There's lots. A seven foot branch even snapped under the weight. Trouble is
it would seem that there is a wasp in about a quarter of them. Picking is therefore slowed down by having to pre-check each plum for stripey inhabitants. At least another quarter of the crop is on the ground. Anything that can be done to offset this loss of crop? They are selling quite well at the gate, 50p for a pound and a half bag. mark |
