Agapanthus question

Hi all!

I have three agapanthus alba plants in a white border. I planted them four
years ago and have been blessed with a great show of white flowers from
them - until this year! Now for some strange reason they are producing blue
flowers!!! Does anyone please have any explanation for this surreal
behaviour???
