Default Plant ID please

We've had this for years and the name has completely gone! In part of
the garden it's around 4' tall and in parts that are sunnier, it's 6'
or more and is in flower now. Ray thought he remembered it as being
some kind of Senecio but I can't find anything like that. S.
cannabifolius doesn't have those plume like flowers, as far as I can
see.

Okay, I think we've got it - Sinacalia tangutica syn. Senecio
tanguticus. It's flowered particularly well this year and is still in
flower now, so seems to be a good value plant for autumnal gardens. I
think the wetness of this summer has helped it along because it's
spread well - some say it's a thug but we love it.
