Identification of a flowering shrub near canal
I noticed an interesting flowering scrub near Grindley Brook Locks on the
Shropshire Union canal and wondered if anyone can identify it. Quite a few people stopped to take photos and the assistant lock keeper has been asking everyone who stopped to look at it if they knew what it was called :-) Photos at: http://www.anduin.org.uk/ The first photo has a better colour rendition than the closeup. Cheers, Dave (remove NOSPAM from email to reply...) |

Try a Google Image seach on Buddleia alternifolia. That looks a good possibility. Thanks Sacha and Bob. That fits the bill perfectly. I'll let the lock keeper know if I see him. Cheers, Dave |
