The Birds - I was Wrong
In article ,
says... In article , says... Driving home from Brecon this afternoon, around 4.00pm, we counted at least 8 red kites circling, some low, some quite high up. Never seen that many locally, we always have one or two around. Guess there must have been a carcass around somewhere! Roughly in what area were you at the time? Bill As I live roughly 4 miles north of Brecon, that's the area. To be precise, I was on the B4520 about 2 miles from the centre of Brecon, and before I reached Llandefaelog church. Just watching 2 Red Kites wheeling above the garden and fiels as I type. Hopefully they are a pair and we can look forward to some juveniles. -- Roger T 700 ft up in Mid-Wales |

Should be a good place to see Kites. All the best Bill |
