Alliums
Have just found a load of allium bulbs in the garage that I bought in the
Autumn and completely forgot about. Any point in planting them now? Would prefer them to be in pots if possible. thanks for any advice JC |

They may not flower this year (I had some that were 'blind' the first year after a late planting), but should recover in time for next year, *provided* they're not mouldy or too soft. -- Spider from high ground in SE London gardening on clay |

They may flower late or not until next year but they certainly won't in the garage in a bag! -- Sacha www.hillhousenursery.com South Devon Planted them today so at least there in compost rather than a cardboard box! |
