Default Germination of Armeria 'Ex Brutus'

Can anybody tell me the best way to sow Armeria 'Ex Brutus' please? I can't find anything on the internet about it. I have been waiting for three weeks now from when I sowed them and nothing has come up. I have a small tray indoors near a window and I have got the tray covered with sellophane to keep the compost moist. Do they need bottom heat?

No one else has replied, so - without knowing this particular variety of Armeria - this is what I'd do - give it another 3 weeks keeping the soil moist, if still nothing, put the pot in a plastic bag and put the whole thing in the least cold bit of fridge for 4-6 weeks, then take it out again and see what happens. If all else fails, seal the pot in the plastic bag again, stick it under the greenhouse staging or somewhere else that you'll forget about it, and look at it again next spring.

Thanks Kay. I will try the cold method if nothing in three weeks. Will keep the compost moist. The Armeria Ex Brutus is larger than the usual Armeria. I think it grows to about 18 inches. I bought the seeds from a specialist nursery.
