damaged roots when planting lavender
Hi, I moved some lavender to a bigger pot and didn't get it wet enough
first. Consequently half the root ball fell off... Will this have a significant effect? Does it in other plants? Thanks a lot, C |

Whatever, I don't suppose it'll make much difference to lavender. I've pulled lavender plants from out between paving slabs and had them grow OK.

Does it in other plants? Thanks a lot, C Did you lose actual roots or just soil? If roots just "fell off" then they were damaged anyway and weren't doing the plant any good. Or do you mean that the soil falling pulled some roots off with it? Whatever, I don't suppose it'll make much difference to lavender. I've pulled lavender plants from out between paving slabs and had them grow OK. Hi, the soil falling off took the roots with it. Thanks for the advice, it's looking good today. Craven. |
