Default OK to mix ericaceous & multipurpose composts for general use?

Got a big bag (50L) of ericaceous compost, and also a smaller bag
(20L) of multipurpose compost. They both need using up. Is it OK to
mix these two bags, and use it for planting bedding plants eg
lobellia, geraniums and busy lizzie. Thanks a lot for any advice.
