Default ID please...

...for this in a friend's garden.

Last year: "well, it's not doing much let's see what happens..."

This year, it's still not doing much but would like to confirm that
it's not worth keeping.

I think it's a sallow. (I can't tell the different types of sallow
apart.) See

Get rid of it whilst you can, they grow fast and get harder all the
time to pull out.

I think she's mindful of that and might remove the larger of the two
she has.
