Default sharpening secateurs

Hi all,

I'd like to sharpen up my faithful Felco #2 secateurs, what's the best
method?

Thanks,

-E

I have a small plastic gizzmo which is in two parts , one part has a small
flat oilstone the other part clips to the back of the curved blade, when
part one is slide into part two you end up with the oilstone held at the
correct angle and able to pivot enough to do the whole blade. I sharpen mine
daily but I am using them constantly and expect them to be razor sharp for
taking cuttings, other than its green in colour came from a garden centre
and cost under £2 I can't tell you more!

You should only sharpen the bevel edge, but is does pay to take apart,
clean, oil and reassemble the whole thing once or twice a year
