Default Sporting? Celery

Hi! Although growing celery over a number of years I have come across
an interesting growth feature - Approximately half my crop is a
beautiful lush dark green, whilst the other half is an interesting
cream/white (Leaves ie) Is this possiblyn a throwback to the breeding
of this self blanching (Loretta) variety? Regards Ricki.
