Default Camellia in flower

Our Madame de Strekaloff is in flower, not a sign of them opening on our
side but I went to put next doors dustbin away and on their side it's
looking lovely with lots of open blooms. How frustrating is that!

We have one (C. jap. Jupiter) that always flowers earlier in the sunny
south side than on the north side. Needless to say, we're on the north
side and our neighbours get the benefit of the earlier blooms. Just
beginning to come into flower now.

Your 'Madame' looks lovely, BTW.

Just had a look at Jupiter and it looks remarkably like out tree (about
15ft) out the back although I don't remember the name being that when we
planted it.
