Default Planting seeds

I have four plant pots in the back garden.
When would be the best time to plant some seeds in them?
Any old seeds, nothing special.

Thanks.

Read what it says on the seed packet.

I see that you don't know either.
Thanks for the reply.

If your such a smart ass then why bother asking the question.
some seeds you can sow now, some not till April or even May.
The seed packets give you the sowing times.
If that's to complicated for you then just take a chance and sow them
whenever you have the time.

Looking at the name you are using I would assume that you have no pots
or seed just an idea to wind up a few people.

There isn't one answer. It depends on the seeds. The answer is on the packet.

And if it isn't, then Google "How to sow Cabbage .. Zinnias, etc. and
you'll get a good idea online.
[Not everyone has a printed packet. Seeds from a friend rarely come with
instructions].
The OP *may* be a troll *or* a genuine gardener. I'm going to pretend
I'm patient and polite until I know. It's not so long ago we were
wishing for fresh 'faces' on here. Perhaps we need to be a tad more
welcoming.

Yup. Thought so. Stay with urg (uk rec gardening) - we're generally a
friendly bunch, but a spot of winter cabin fever and troll paranoia
occasionally makes us react out of character.

Come back soon and introduce yourself with a rough geographical location
(helpful when recommending plants for a particular situation) and a hint
at your level of experience. New gardeners and apparently daft
questions are welcome; we were all newbies once.

Nice to hear from you again.
