Is it time to recategorise Garden Centres as Christmas and Garden
Centres? I am thoroughly sick from the end of September until well into
January not being able to find any reasonable garden stock in so called
Garden Centres, They are filled with Christmas tat,bah humbug!

But if you pop in at the transition time there are tremendous bargains
to be had as they clear the shelves of unwanted gardening items.

BTW it is more heathen than that ours are all Halloween dungeons now
renamed Santa's grotto after a quick makeover in early November.

Thanks for pointing this out. I have to take a look at the local french
'Garden Centers', although it is a little early for the Coca Cola-man...

I think about fetchning my wifes arc and arrows to set my check-mark on
each one that I see dangling from an upper floor window.

I'm with you on this. I once wanted to get my brother some gardening stuff
he wanted for Christmas from Wilkinson's. No go in December, full of tat.
