Climber that doesn't mind shade or wet soil?
i've got an old apple tree at the end of my garden, in the winter the soil
is very wet down there and it only gets the sun in the later afternoons. Is there a climber that doesn't mind such conditions which I could grow up the tree to give some interest to the trunk? Thanks |

Thanks Well, I have a very similar situation except the tree is a cherry and is dead, and it is sunny in the mornings,I have just planted two clematis to go up it and hopefully all over it (since its dead I'm not worried about any comnpetition for resources), will let you know what the outcome is. -- Tumbleweed Remove my socks before replying (but no email reply necessary to newsgroups) |
