Default Source of wood chippings and plastic membrane please

I need a fair quantity of both, and wonder where the best sources (good
quality at lowest price).
I live in North Staffordshire, and would happily collect the wood chips if
cost effective as I have a smallish trailer.
All help appreciated.
TIA

I was after woodchippings for mulch a year ago - and was advised, well as
it turned out, to contact local tree surgeons. They love being able to
dispose of it for nothing... since they usually have to pay.

Must get some more... once I rediscover who I got the original ashtree
from... been a boon in keeping weeds down in my little orchard.

Ring your local Forest Enterprises depot, also try commercial forestry
organisations that specialise in fencing timber, specifically posts.

They peel on-site usually, resulting in huge heaps of woodchip. Beer
money to the right man will usually get you as much as you can carry.

1) Any local arboricultural firm that has a chipper may be glad for you
to take it away.. Particularly in built up areas they have to pay to
send it to landfill or store it if they don't have the space to store
it, so reducing the load is always welcome.

2)
