[OT] and thus a little acorn began to grow
The seed germinated properly and the fruit ripened in time as nature
demands.. The fruit is Rhiannon Marie Born 22nd July at 18:10, 35 hours after Johanna went into labour. After 2 prior days of latency. Weighs 9lb 7oz. Born with her hand stuck by her face which caused the blockage and a great deal of the pain. They're both home from hospital now and daddy has just had the newborn nappy experience (with biodegradable nappies that can compost for the first week until we get her into cloth ones). The long labour meant that daddy was away from the garden for 3 days and some hanging baskets paid the price but that's a small price to pay for the joy of having her asleep on my chest.
