I've finally had enough of idiots pulling up my small conifers from a hedge
I'm trying to develop and them ( the conifers, unfortunately) dying.
I now want to grow a berberis hedge! what is the quickest growing to about 1
metre high and the roughest to the touch? also any recommendations about
online sellers, and growing tips for these spiky rascals.

Don't just think about berberis, pyracantha is also very useful, and
quite quick growing, mine have already put on about 9" this year, their
first.
