My mum died a couple of weeks ago and I would very much like to

plant
something in my garden in her memory

Thank-you all for your help and suggestions.
My mum adored sweetpeas and this year we had an amazing amount of them so
she had fresh bunches every day in her ward which she loved. I will plant
those every summer with her in mind but I was hoping for something that I
could look out at all year round.
I've decided to go for the fuschia (which I love) and the hebe (which is a
challenge as I've never been successful with) and the children have bought
hundreds of spring bulbs and have dug a previously unused part of the garden
and planted them, they're already calling it 'nana's patch'
Thanks again
