Default Bamboo - pleioblastus fortunei f. variegatus

What would be the best habitat for this plant during cold or wet
weather?

Many thanks.

From what little I know about Bamboo..

Roots out of extreme frost (or at least in the ground with a mulch) and
top growth out of cold drying winds.

If you want to get into Bamboos try sending off for some of the
specialist catalogues or joining the EBS UK group for a year (they do a
very good basic guide as part of their membership.
