Bamboo - pleioblastus fortunei f. variegatus
What would be the best habitat for this plant during cold or wet
weather? Many thanks. Paul the D 'You're a big man, but you're out of shape. With me it's a full time job. Now behave yourself.' |

Roots out of extreme frost (or at least in the ground with a mulch) and top growth out of cold drying winds. If you want to get into Bamboos try sending off for some of the specialist catalogues or joining the EBS UK group for a year (they do a very good basic guide as part of their membership. http://www.bodley.ox.ac.uk/users/djh/ebs/ebsindex.htm / Jim |
