Default Potato disease in Wales

Half asleep heard something about a serious potato disease in
Wales this am. Ring rot or something? Is this likely to be a
problem next year?

There's just been a piece about it on the beebs lunchtime news, but it
wasn't very helpful. Still don't know what it looks like or what to do if
it's found. Apparently it's good at lying dormant so it may have been here a
while unnoticed. The item said it could knock out 50% of the crop.
