Default Lavender 'the lady'

I grew some last year from seed, and they did OK, but nothing special.

This year haven't really looked at them till today, when I got a frantic
phone call from my husband:

'have we got any lavender? we need some today for the office Christmas
awards' (no, I don't know. It's a long story, apparently.)

Anyway, I belted up to the strawberry patch to inspect my Ladies (I'd
planted them as a tiny hedge around the strawbs.)

And I find that they are all flowering their tiny socks off!

In December!

They aren't huge plants, but every one is covered in blue flowers.

I think I shall grow some more!

Victoria
