Can I prevent the spread of moss in my lawn in winter?
Hi,
First let me say that while I enjoy pottering around my garden, I am in no way, shape or form an expert! More of a tryer! Last year I raked all the moss of of my lawn, put feed and weed down and eventually my grass looked great (with continual feeding throughout summer). As winter continues, I can see it all coming back, worse than ever! Is there anything I can do to prevent it, or stop it in it's tracks. Already I can see that it may be a baldy mess for a couple of months once again to wait till it grows back - I'm also going to sell my house shortly and don't want the grass to look awful (either with moss or bald patches!) My garden is not very well drained, it's a fairly steep slope and quite shaded down one side. Any advice, or wonder cure would be greatly appreciated. Mandy |
