mating frogs in Yorkshire
Kay Easton3/2/04 5:30
Two frogs mating in one of our garden ponds this morning. This is very early - earliest date so far for frogspawn has been Mar 4th. LOL! You beat me to it this year. But I will say that while I saw them last night, Matthew tells me they've been here for a week. One toad had actually hopped inside our back door last night when the wind and rain blew it open. Poor thing needs an AA guide to the fish pond! -- Sacha www.hillhousenursery.co.uk South Devon (remove the weeds to email me) |
